by next year its gonna 10 years since i started skin picking and holy shit, they arent understood very well at all lmao. and its so ass being anxious in public and automatically picking at your fingers and lips until they bleed. like i look like a fucking psycho BUT I CANT STOP MAN! it SUCKS. ill grit my teeth and try and stop one day but my teenage years have been hell so i havent really been in the right mental space to want to stop. thanks my dumbass 8 year old self for thinking that this wont be ass in the long run.

also two of the worst and weirdest things ive been told in relation to my dermatillomania (how come firefox recongizes trichotillomania but not dermatillomania wtf) was that one person i was friends with who literally said "ew" when i told her about it. and my dad for some reason thinking it was a form of self harm? no, its just me being weird man. its like nail biting.

anyway thats my two cents, im tryna use this site more. tldr, dont start picking your skin. its hard asf to stop.
